Will it get through security?

Yes! We've been using these for four years and haven't been stopped once. Sure, you will still need to put them through the scanners - like any carry on. But remember: security does not work for the airline! They truly do not care how many items of hand luggage you have - only that it is not dangerous!
It goes without saying - only fill the pillow with usual hand luggage items and you will have no problems with security.

Can I wash the pillow?

Yup! Machine washable. The colour is quite strong through - we wouldn't go throwing it in with the white wash!

Will airline staff know?

Nope. When packed correctly it looks just like a regular neck pillow. (Hint: Stuff both ends with socks first to get a nice full look!)

Does it look like a normal neck pillow?

Yes! It is exactly the same size as a regular neck pillow! When you pull the toggles at the bottom it drops right into the classic neck pillow shape.
